The Complete Life-Girl Child Education and Youth Empowerment Foundation (CL-GEYEF), is a Non-Governmental Organization dedicated to sustainable growth and development in the nation by supporting the girl child education and empowering the youths.
CL-GEYEF aims to enhance and support quality education for the girl child, and empower the youths through educational programs and entrepreneurial development training to rise above mediocrity and become successful leaders of tomorrow. This is in keeping with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4).
Education for the girl child is a universal human right, and the key to poverty alleviation and national development. Educated women are more likely to confidently participate in political discussions, meetings, and decision-making, which in turn promotes a more representative, effective government and leadership.
Objectives of Cl-GEYEF
- To visit schools (primary, secondary and tertiary) and inspire the youths to shun negative vices and pay attention to their studies and see education as a gateway out of poverty and tool for national development.
- To carry out research on the impact of girl child education on national development.
- To encourage and provide necessary assistance for the less privileged girl child to attain education.
- To carry out awareness campaigns to sensitize girls and their parents on the importance of education, and disabuse the prejudices surrounding the girl child education.
- To initiate, encourage and empower the youths through motivational programs and entrepreneurial development training that will stimulate them mentally to be self-reliant and successful.
- To inculcate leadership qualities in the girl child as an effective agent of change.

CL-GEYEF stands for quality education and youth empowerment.
According to a survey on girl-child education, and the statistics of Nigerian Educational system: Worldwide, 36million girls are out of school; 6million of them are Nigerian.
In Nigeria, 10.5million children are out of school (UNESCO, 2013).
Only 29% of students graduate from secondary school on time, if at all; and nearly 60%of primary 6 pupils cannot read at all.
So, i want to thank God for The Complete Life-Girl Child Education and Youth Empowerment Foundation (CL-GEYEF), for the vision of the foundation, and all it is doing both to initiate and encourage proper education for the girl-child, and also to empower the youth.
