BE THANKFUL
No matter how things turn out to be, be thankful to God for the
gift of another day.
You don’t have a house, but you live in a rented apartment. Be grateful
to God that you are not homeless and sleeping under the bridge.
You don’t have a job, but you have a certificate. Give God praise because
it’s just a matter of time you will be gainfully employed.
Some have food but they can’t eat, you can eat if only you have food. Be
grateful to God for giving you mouth to eat, and work hard to provide
food on your table.
You complain that you are still single while your mates are married. Don’t
forget that some of your mates are dead too. There is hope for you. You will
get married one day.
I’m not beautiful! I’m not handsome! Remember some persons can’t even
appreciate the beauty of nature, let alone see how they look like.
‘My children are not intelligent, or they are too stubborn and wayward’ you
keep complaining. Have you thanked God for giving you children?
You may not own a car but you have legs. Give Him praise for your leg-wagon. At least, your legs are not borrowed; you can move about with them.
Are you among those saying ‘why am I from Nigeria? You are so lucky being a Nigerian because we remain the giant of Africa and the most intelligent
people in the world.
