If you love money too much, you will never have enough!
There is more to life than money or earthly possessions. Life is about service not status; it’s about responsibility not resources or wealth. Many people in their quest for money have pierced their souls and caused everlasting damage to mankind. It’s not wrong to have money, or work hard through patience and determination to get wealth. It becomes wrong when you think that life is meaningless without money, or when you can kill or debase yourself just to be rich. To be poor is not a sin! It’s far better to remain poor than to change into a vulture just to be rich as narrated in the true life story below.
There were these three friends that went to a restaurant to drink, when they got there, they met some old friends who had made money and were openly displaying their wealth buying food and drinks for everybody in the eatery. Later, these three friends cornered the moneybags and wanted to find out how they suddenly became wealthy. They opened up and told them that there is a native doctor (Juju priest) who can make them very rich in three days, but the native doctor would turn them into a vulture and after three days he would change them back to human and money won’t be their problem anymore. They accepted to become vultures. They met with the native doctor, who gave them some concoctions that changed them instantly to vultures. On the third day, as the native doctor journeyed into the forest to get the juju necessary to change them back to human beings, he died on the way. The community made frantic effort to get other native doctors to change them, but it yielded no result. These three friends remained as vultures. Finally, these three human-vultures were shot by the police after causing so much embarrassment to their community and families.
“If you want to feel rich, just count the things you have that money cannot buy”
